The university remains open over the weekend.
Custodial workers continue to withdraw their services and CUPE 116 members are still working to an overtime ban. Faculty and staff who are not engaged in job action are expected to report for work.
CUPE 116 represents more than 2000 employees in trades, food services, student housing, parking, research labs and more. CUPE Local 2278, representing teaching assistants, is in mediation with UBC. CUPE 2950 and the University have reached a tentative deal.
