The University and BC Government Employee’s Union have reached a tentative agreement for approximately 600 unionized staff at the Okanagan campus. The Union represents staff employed in administrative, library, facilities maintenance and teaching assistant roles. Ratification is expected to be completed later this month.
On UBC’s Vancouver campus, CUPE 2278 will hold a ratification vote on the tentative agreement reached last week with the university on November 15. CUPE 2278 represents teaching assistants and non-credit instructors at the English Language Institute.
