UBC and CUPE 2278 are meeting with mediator Vince Ready today in order to resume bargaining and work towards a negotiated agreement. CUPE 2278 represents teaching assistants at UBC and non-credit instructors at the English Language Institute.
The Vancouver campus is open. Students, faculty and staff can expect normal operations and services.
